The UBRWPP provides
outreach and educational workshops for residents of the watershed
throughout the year:
Educational Workshops: The
UBRWPP hosts two workshops a year highlighting erosion control BMP
installation, gardening with native plants, treatment of Hemlock
Woolly Adelgid, identifying invasive species, and much more!

Presentations to local organizations: The
Watershed Coordinator is also willing to speak to local organizations.
These presentations can highlight the general work of the UBRWPP or
catered to your interests. The Lake Lure Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, Lake
Lure Lakefront Homeowners Association, and Chimney Rock Community
Development Association have allowed the UBRWPP to present at their
